Background
Pelart Laboratory — company uses Israeli formulas and technologies, while manufacturing the products in Ukraine using premium-quality raw materials from the world’s best suppliers. Pelart Laboratory’s skincare products are designed for both the professional cosmetology market and end consumers who choose high-quality domestic products and corresponding service that ensures fast order processing. To effectively interact with customers and manage internal operations, the company uses a CRM system.
Problem
Initially, Pelart Laboratory hosted its CRM with a contractor who maintained the system while also serving as a reseller for one of Ukraine’s hosting providers. At first glance, this arrangement seemed convenient, but in reality, the client became heavily dependent on a single contractor. This made system control more difficult and reduced the company’s operational flexibility.
Additionally, Pelart Laboratory increasingly encountered slow CRM performance, which became critical as business scaling led to higher workloads. Furthermore, storing data in a Ukrainian data center posed additional risks of physical data loss.
Task
Pelart Laboratory recognized the critical importance of stable and fast CRM performance—it ensured uninterrupted customer service and efficient employee operations. However, under the partnership with the previous provider, resolving accumulated issues proved impossible for various reasons. Consequently, the company decided to seek a new technology partner—one capable of delivering the desired level of control, security, predictability, and scalability.
Pelart Laboratory aimed to migrate its CRM to a secure and high-performance cloud environment while addressing several technical constraints:
Proprietary system tightly bound to a specific control panel and exact OS versions;
Licensing and activation dependencies tied to the runtime environment;
Direct impact on business metrics, ruling out prolonged downtime.
Additionally, finding a service provider meeting the following criteria was essential:
Hosting client data outside Ukraine (ideally in EU countries);
Ensuring platform fault tolerance and flexible on-demand resource allocation;
Providing genuine 24/7 technical support with multiple communication channels.
Pelart Laboratory signed a contract with Colobridge—a technology partner serving Ukrainian businesses while hosting client data in two top-tier certified German data centers (top 3 in Europe). The choice was influenced by a specialist’s recommendation, who shared an honest review of their collaboration with Colobridge. “Word of mouth” proved more effective than any advertising promises.
Reference:
Users of proprietary solutions often face challenges and limitations. CRM and other systems only function with specific OS versions, rely on unique activation mechanisms, and require a static environment configuration—complicating migration and scaling. Many such systems also suffer from outdated APIs, lack detailed documentation, and fail to support rapid backup recovery, increasing risks of data loss and downtime. Moreover, with monopolized technical support, businesses effectively become “hostages” of a single contractor.
Implementation
Colobridge proposed a solution based on a public cloud (IaaS) on MS Hyper-V. The CRM migration to the cloud was carried out in several stages:

New Infrastructure Preparation The Colobridge team deployed virtual machines with parameters recommended by the CRM developer, installed the necessary software, configured the network environment, and set up backup parameters.

Test Migration Initially, the CRM was recreated in the new environment without modifying the production system. This allowed testing the system’s correct operation in the new configuration and eliminating potential errors before the final transition. During the testing period, resources were provided to the client free of charge.

Configuration Optimization. After launching the test environment, Colobridge specialists conducted a CRM performance audit, verified logging accuracy, and fine-tuned other parameters according to the developer’s recommendations.

Final CRM Migration to Colobridge Cloud Several iterations were required to complete license switching.

“From the migration process to this day, Colobridge’s technical support has been flawless. It’s easy to reach their specialists (including by phone), and the response time never exceeds 15 minutes. They promptly tackle any task, even if it’s outside their direct scope of responsibility—unlike our previous contractors, who often refused assistance or even basic consultation in such cases.”

The entire CRM migration took two weeks to complete. Following this, performance testing continued for several more months. Based on the test results, additional computing resources (primarily CPU) were allocated to achieve the desired system performance level.

Reference:
Performance testing in the cloud is a type of load testing that evaluates how a system behaves under various workloads in a cloud environment. This testing is conducted to measure performance, scalability, and operational stability under near-real-world conditions.

Results
Cosmetics manufacturer Pelart Laboratory has obtained a stable, reliable, and manageable CRM infrastructure in Colobridge’s public cloud. Currently:
Customer data is stored outside Ukraine, in a secure German data center;
The system operates without failures or delays, even during peak loads;
24/7 technical support is available, including voice communication;
Additional resources can be allocated at any time to support business scaling.
Now, Pelart Laboratory’s business operates faster, more securely, and more reliably — precisely what the highly competitive market demands. Colobridge has minimized data loss risks and ensured high CRM availability, which is central to the client’s critical business processes.
“We’ve experienced firsthand what a high-performance cloud platform and customer-centric service truly mean. We received expert assistance with a technically complex migration, and now—two years into our partnership—we know that every support request will be addressed promptly and effectively. Even in cases of unintentional payment delays, they proactively follow up to remind us and understand the reasons. This approach builds trust and fosters genuine loyalty.”
